TECHNIQUE of LE COCHINCHINE III :
LE COCHINCHINE III is entirely made of wood in a hull built of Oak (go sao), Long of 33 m and wide of 7m00 , the Vietnamese essence traditionnally used for quality ships and now a rare deed and is powered by an isuzu (450 HP) engines and 1 generator ISUZU 55KVA (220V-50HZ) .
It accommodates 28 passengers in 12 cabins including
8 Twin cabins
2 Double cabins
2 Family cabins ( each with 1 double bed & 2 single bed )
All cabins are equiped with air- condition, private bathroom with hot water
1 living room
2 restaurants
2 bar
A wide upper deck for contemplate sunset with an aperitif
The ship has been launched in june 2008 and construction is scheduled to be finished by september 08.

Day 1 : Saigon – My tho - Caibe - Mekong lodge (L,D)
8:00 AM Pick up at your hotel in Saigon, drive southward to Mekong Delta, drive southward to Mekong Delta. Arriving in Caibe harbor and take the boat trip of half hour to Mekong Lodge
Check-in bungalows
Lunch is served in the nice restaurant with the special day-menu
Afternoon walking visit to the homes factories of Candy and handicraft near by the village
Late afternoon participating in cooking class and diner with what you’ve cooked
Riverside Bar are open until mid-night
Overnight at Mekong lodge resort

Mekong Lodge is mostly a general design which includes traveling one. Services and activities which are offered by managers, are indeed varied and abundant with human contacts such as biking through the village (included), discovering the daily rural life, fishing with the neighbor(s) growing vegetables or being familiar with the Vietnamese culinary art to satisfy one’s curiosity with courses of cuisine and fruit/vegetables carving. Day 2: Caibe - Can tho by Le Cochinchine boat ( B, L, D)
After breakfast at Mekong lodge restaurant,we sail leisurely through the Floating Market to admire all life activities of the River on the brown water flow with hundreds of sampans like floating shops arranged by groups here and there, crossed by small service boats of café or soups. Photographing sampans, close to the stern used as their home, we could be started by a sudden dog bark but the owner, a vermicelli soup seller would greet us with a generous smile. All seasonal merchandises from the Mekong Delta as rice, vegetables, fruit, fish, poultry would be gathered here before distributing to local markets.
After visit the floating market, we check in the Le cochinchine boat for 2 days cruise to Can tho.
Disembark somewhere fantastic place on the village,and take a pleasant walking or biking on the footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local people's activities,especially somes orchards (orange grove) with its famer.
Cruise to continue to Traon.Enjoy the magnificent sunset on the river. Leisurely cruise up the Mekong River while enyoying the beautiful scenery and the aperitifs, sunset cruise .

Day 3: Traon - Can tho - Cairang- Ho chi minh ( B )
The noise of the floating market wake you up early in the morning. After breakfast, the cruise to continue to Can Tho. Enjoy the magnificent sunrise on the river. Leisurely cruise up the BASSAC river while enyoying the beautiful scenery.
Arrive Can Tho, a small boat will take you explore the Cai Rang market one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. And through the palm-shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards.
10h00 Disembark at the NINHKIEU jetty. Pick up, transfer to hotel in Saigon. Drop off at your hotel. End of tour.
